LSU Grads Apply Ready to Roar Career Proficiencies at Arrive Logistics
At LSU, students develop more than just classroom knowledge, they graduate Ready to Roar with real-world skills that make an impact on the job from day one. Two alumni now thriving at Arrive Logistics share how LSU prepared them to communicate clearly and think critically in a fast-paced industry.
Communication in Action
Christian Minturn (Economics, '20) is an Enterprise Partnership Manager who has been with Arrive for five years. Though public speaking once intimidated him, an LSU professor’s advice changed his perspective: “Whatever you're messing up, no one knows but you.”
That mindset, along with practical tips like smiling on calls to build rapport, helped
Christian grow as a communicator. At Arrive, he found a culture that values open dialogue
and support. “Even now, I can always count on my managers and coworkers to help,”
he says. “You’re never made to feel bad for asking a question.”
Critical Thinking
Cameron Jenkins (Business Administration, '20; MBA, '22) uses critical thinking daily as a Senior Business Development Representative. His LSU coursework, from case studies in undergrad to insight-driven projects in his MBA program, emphasized collaboration and real-world problem-solving.
“LSU helped me build a toolkit for approaching challenges with confidence,” Cameron says. At Arrive, that foundation is reinforced with structured training and mentoring. “Critical thinking is part of everything we do. The company’s technology and support systems help you approach problems strategically and find the best solutions.”
From Tiger Stadium to the logistics floor, LSU alumni prove they’re Ready to Roar, bringing key career proficiencies to life at one of the country’s fastest-growing logistics firms.
