Please note that MS and PhD candidates do not need to have a research interest in veterinary medicine and research does not need to benefit animals. LSU Vet Med is a biomedical research institution as well as a veterinary school. Our researchers' investigations cover a wide range of disciplines, including cancer biology, disease processes, cardiovascular disease, infectious and parasitic diseases, neurosciences, toxicology, bacteriology, and more.

Winners announced for LSU Vet Med's 31st Annual International Exhibition on Animals in Art

The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to announce the award winners for its 31st Annual International Exhibition on Animals in Art, which opened October 4, 2025, and runs through October 31 in the LSU Vet Med Library. The exhibition features 56 works selected from 302 submissions representing 150 artists from 30 states, Canada, Germany, Guatemala, and Turkey.
