THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
Family Weekend guests are encouraged to use the metered visitor parking lots located throughout campus. Metered parking is $3 per hour and is in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
For early check-in on Thursday (3–6 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore, 2nd
Floor), the Union Square Parking Garage is the most convenient option. Metered parking is available there for $3 per hour
or $19 per day. You may pay for parking when you arrive. The Union Square Parking
Garage is located behind the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore, on the corner of East
Campus Drive and Veterans Drive.
Friday, September 19

Family Weekend guests are encouraged to use the metered visitor parking lots located throughout campus. These lots are shaded in dark purple on the Friday Parking Map. Metered parking is $3 per hour or $19 for the entire day and is in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Recommended metered lots include:
- Union Square Parking Garage is the largest and most convenient parking area for Friday's events. The Union Square Parking Garage is located behind the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore (corner of East Campus Drive and Veterans Drive).
- Welcome Center Visitor Lot (Lot 207) – corner Dalrymple Drive and Highland Road
- Thomas Boyd Visitor Lot (Lot 204) – corner of Dalrymple Drive and Tower Drive
Important: The Union Square Parking Garage is only available as an option for parking on Friday. It is NOT available for Family Weekend guests on Saturday.
Free Public Parking (Friday only)
Free parking is also available in the Parker Coliseum Lot 1 and Parker Coliseum Lot 2 (limited, first-come, first-served). These lots are shaded in light purple on the Friday Parking Map.
Guests who wish to park in these free lots must register their vehicle in advance. Please complete the online form linked bleow to register your vehicle prior to arriving on campus:

Evening Parking Access
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Family Weekend guests may park in any lot shaded in gray on the Friday Parking Map.
Important: All vehicles must be removed from all parking lots by 6 a.m. on Saturday (gameday),
or they will be towed.
Saturday, September 20

Parking for Saturday is controlled through the LSU Athletic Department and details on game day parking and traffic can be found at lsusports.net/gameday/parking/.
Plan Ahead: Gameday parking is very limited, and Highland Road in particular becomes heavily congested. Allow plenty of time to arrive on campus and plan for considerable walking to reach your events. The LSU Family Weekend Tailgate will be held on the Parade Ground, across from the LSU Student Union, from 2–5 p.m. on Saturday.
Important: The Union Square Parking Garage is NOT available for Family Weekend guests on Saturday. This garage is a reserved lot through LSU Athletics and requires a pre-purchased parking permit, which is already sold out.
Free Public Parking on Saturday
The free (non-reserved) public parking areas on campus are indicated in light gray on the LSU Football Parking Map. Parking availability in these areas is limited and is first-come, first-served.
- The closest public parking areas to the LSU Parade Ground where the Family Weekend Tailgate will be held are located on the east side of campus, including the Law Center Lots, Parker Coliseum Lots, and UREC Lot.
- Additional free parking options are also available on the southwest side of campus, including the Golf Course Lot, Hayfield Lot, Gourrier South Lot, and Levee South Lot.
Reserved Permit Parking for Saturday
Reserved parking permits are sold out.
ADA Parking
Information about ADA parking policies can be found here. Free ADA parking is located at Lot 406 on Gourrier Ave. There are a limited number of spaces available. This area is available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 7 a.m. on gameday. The lot is accessible by presenting a valid state issued ADA parking permit and/or valid ADA driver’s license to the traffic officers on site. A shuttle is provided to and from Tiger Stadium.
Shuttle service will start at 7 a.m. on gameday. Pickup location will be in Lot 406. The drop off location will be in lot 101 and post-game pickup will be in front of Nicholson Gateway on Nicholson Dr. Shuttles will be available throughout the game until approximately 90 minutes after the game for return service to Lot 406.
Motor Home/RV Parking

Reminder: Expect heavy traffic and full lots. Arrive early to secure parking and give yourself
extra time to walk to events. The LSU Family Weekend Tailgate will be held on the
Parade Ground, across from the LSU Student Union, from 2–5 p.m. on Saturday.
Sunday, September 21
Family Weekend guests may park for free in the metered visitor parking lots. Families and visitors may also park without a permit in the various parking zones on campus. Parking restrictions and meter fees are not in effect on Sundays. View the interactive campus parking map.
