LSU Geology Summer Camp

Bust out your magnifying glass and come along to help solve the mysteries of the Earth around us. Participants will get a chance to learn about the Earth, its natural resources, and how we find and use them.

This camp is a free, three-day summer camp open to 6th - 12th graders. Space is limited so the 40 participants will be selected from a random drawing of submitted applications. Lunch will be provided.

2026 Update: There will not be a Geology Summer Camp in 2026. For a list of other summer programs offered by LSU, please visit lsu.edu/summer. We hope to offer Geology Summer Camp in the future.
